Re-Opening Update

Gathering Together on May 17th

  • We will reunite in the church sanctuary Sunday, May 17th.
  • If you have been sick, running a fever, or have been around anyone who has been sick, please stay home and worship with us online.
  • For those who are most vulnerable but want to come, you should wear a mask at all times. A cloth mask will suffice..
  • We will meet for Sunday school beginning at 10 am, then gather for worship at 11.
  • We will continue to livestream our morning worship service and we will have Sunday school online with a 1 day delay.
  • We will not have children's church at this time.
  • The nursery will be open and staffed. Masks will be worn.
  • Families, I am asking that you sit together if possible. We encourage you to wear a mask if you have one.
  • Ushers will be at back exits at the beginning and the end of worship.
  • We will not be passing the offering plates. We will have the offering plates available up front and at the back of the Church.
  • We will not be printing any bulletins at this time.
  • We will not have normal meet and greet. I will recognize guest during the appropriate time. Please be respectful of those around you and avoid contact and maintain social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available
  • There will be no Choir and we will be deliberate in relaunching our choir, and children’s church so please be patient with us as people get more comfortable being back together.
  • Sadly, VBS has been cancelled. We are looking at alternatives for our children this summer. Stay tuned for more information on that.
  • Children and Youth Camps are on as scheduled.
  • We will still do Baptisms. Again taking precautions and limiting it to family members if more than one..

Church, in my 32 years of ministry I have never pastored through a pandemic. We the staff ask that you take precautions for yourselves and that you make the right decisions for your family. If you have a mask and want to wear it please feel free to do so. I am praying that God continues to give us wisdom as He guides us through these times. Should you have any concerns please feel free to contact the church office, myself or Cody.

Finally, pray for your staff, church, and community as we seek to live out the Great Commission during these trying times.
